Same you, every place
At your first breath, every planet sat somewhere above or below the horizon. Seen from another city, that same sky looks different: a planet that was low in Brussels can be right overhead in Rome. So you exist everywhere at once. Going to a new place does not change who you are. It turns up the volume on a part of you that was already in your birth chart.
The chart is the promise, the map is the address
In ancient astrology, the birth chart was called the natal promise: how each part of a life tends to turn out. To see how money goes, look at the ruler of the 2nd house. Marriage, the ruler of the 7th. Career and reputation, the ruler of the 10th. Astrocartography adds one question: where in the world can each promise open up most easily?
A map for travel, people and work
Astrocartography is not only about where to live. It also helps you pick a trip, see where your friends, clients and audience come from, choose a city for a workshop, or even notice why video calls with one country always go well. A place can start a story without being the place where you live it.
Audrey Hepburn's lines
In this class you will play with a real map: Audrey Hepburn's, born in Brussels on May 4, 1929 at 3:00 in the morning. Every colored line is a planet sitting on one of the four angles of her chart. Tap Rome, where Roman Holiday made her a star, then Somalia, her last trip for UNICEF. Same woman, very different lines.
A fresh start, not only a goodbye
Many people are afraid to move because they link it with loss. That fear deserves kindness. Then a helpful reframe: a move can also be a fresh start and an adventure. People who moved often, for school, work or touring, usually find it easier each time. The map is not here to push you out of your home. It shows options.
