- A big chapter of life starts in one sign. Here, Leo: Beyoncé's chapter from birth to 2000.
- Inside it, smaller chapters go round the zodiac, sign after sign. Each one lasts a few months to two years.

What is the loosing of the bond in astrology?
In zodiacal releasing, a long life chapter has smaller sub-chapters that go round the twelve signs. When they would come back to the chapter's own sign, they jump to the opposite sign instead. That jump is the loosing of the bond, often a major turning point in career or life direction.
What is the seed or foreshadowing period?
The first time the sub-chapters reach the sign opposite the chapter, about eight years before the loosing of the bond. What starts, or almost happens, then often comes back and completes at the loosing of the bond.
Does everyone have a loosing of the bond?
Only during long chapters: Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Capricorn and Aquarius (20, 25, 19, 20, 27 and 30 years). Most people have one to three in a lifetime at this level.
